TURTLES: Unless you live in the sewers and have no WIFI signal, you’ve probably heard about the huge kerfuffle being made over the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Some people are digging the vibe, while most of us are pretty much underwhelmed, if not disgusted. Anyways, some new images have popped up courtesy of a new book called T.M.N.T: The Ultimate Visual History.
While I’m still not sold on the new Shrek-inspired redesigns of the Turtles, I am impressed with the look of Splinter and Shredder.
TITANS: What’s The Plan for Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy? Josh Brolin is playing the evil Titan Thanos in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and his role is quite limited, according to Vulture’s report:
“He’ll emerge in the first act of Guardians of the Galaxy and will be communicating remotely via hologram for most of his screen time in the film, (a move the Mad Titan likely cribbed from the equally enigmatic Emperor Palpatine in The Empire Strikes Back). He does show up in the purple flesh for a scene that also features Ronan the Accuser and Nebula. Still, although Thanos doesn’t play a major role in the film, his presence is palpable throughout. Characters reference him often and fearfully, and he has familial ties to Gamora (Zoe Saldana), who is our green-skinned female lead.”
Well there you have it! Sounds like Thanos will be playing the role of a puppet master in the film before going full retard in Avengers 3. Works for me.
