Documentary style horror is still very much the trend in cinema, it tries to put you in the driving seat which supposedly makes it scarier – I’ve yet to experience any evidence to back that up. Nevertheless, V/H/S, a horror anthology film is trying to convince otherwise with a new creepy green band trailer.
Expect lots of cheap scares from this found footage horror that offers more bang for your buck with many shorter stories as opposed to one long feature. Here’s a plot synopsis:
A POV, found footage horror film from the perspective of America’s top genre filmmakers. A group of misfits are hired by an unknown third party to burglarize a desolate house in the countryside and acquire a rare tape. Upon searching the house, the guys are confronted with a dead body, a hub of old televisions and an endless supply of cryptic footage, each video stranger than the last.
