Good News Everyone! Our movie pick of the week is The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (long movie title is long!) Finally… A blockbuster sequel to a reboot of a reboot that doesn’t suck!

In the way of trailers, here’s a first look at the Jimi Hendrix biopic All is By My Side starring Andre 3000 as Hendrix and directed by John Ridley (12 Years a Slave). The film is a drama based on the legendary performer’s rise to fame:

Next up – A trailer for Exodus: Gods and Kings featuring Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton. The film is directed by Ridley Scott and is an account of Moses’ hand in leading the Israelite slaves out of Egypt:

It’s been a good week for movies! We’ve got a big Sci-Fi blockbuster that doesn’t suck and some promising trailers as well. Another film worth a plug is Earth to Echo, which also opens this weekend and is apparently the internet generation’s answer to E.T.
